In 1868, Loung Yonakarnwichit Uppayokin restored the whole pagoda and turned it to Mon architecture style with 8 small tiers, 4 gold and silver flower trees and one big tier. Later, in 1971, Phrapaladkuson Kantawaro started again to restore it and finished the restauration works in 1972. The watering ceremony pagoda has been known and is performed "in the northern 6th month or 4th month from that time on until now."The period when this pagoda was built is still unknown.
